In this age of sensational reporting, I appreciate those who tell it like it is without needing to add a spin to get more gasps or "tsk tsk" from their audience. That's why I so greatly respect and support the crew at NPR for their more objective reporting...(with "more" as the operative word, 'cos I don't know if there's such a thing as truly unbiased journalism).
Special props go out to my favorite correspondents Ivan Watson, with his earnestness and charming lisp; and Anne Garrels, whose shakey voice brought the chaos and fear from the front lines of Afghanistan and Iraq into my consciousness.
While the others judge, rant, and rave to boost their ratings, I'm sticking with those who don't need to exaggerate to make us stop and think. Keep on keeping it real, guys.
Salutations!

You are such a good writer - this is very cool.
And then you can end your week with intelligent humor on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me... :) NPR rocks. Although they can be awfully depressing sometimes!
